In Kenia ist die Primary School, vergleichbar mit unserer Grundschule, verpflichtend und kostenfrei. Der Besuch der weiterführenden Schule, also der Secondary School ist ebenso kostenpflichtig wie die High School. Wir haben so viele intelligente Kinder kennengelernt, die familiär oft sehr extreme Herausforderungen zu meistern haben und dadurch nicht die Kosten für die Schule aufbringen können. Mit Patenschaften wollen wir es ihnen ermöglichen, dass sie eine gute Schulbildung und damit vernünftige Voraussetzungen für eine bessere Zukunft bekommen.
