Ophthalmological treatments

Achieve a significant improvement in the quality of life with just a few resources

Future "Vision"

Many Kenyan families cannot afford state health care. Children in particular are therefore often not adequately cared for.

Since seeing is extremely important for later life as well as a career path and the deputy chairman of the foundation, Dr. Christof Knebel is an ophthalmologist, we have focused the project on ophthalmological (eye) care.

We support local institutions free of charge with our own expertise, bring the necessary equipment and consumables to Kenya and, above all, want to help people help themselves.

Small procedure with a big effect

In a practice with surgery facility in Iten/Elgeyo-Marakwet, a Kenyan ophthalmologist is often also on site for many days, treating patients who otherwise cannot afford this. This facility has already been supported by us with several devices and many consumables.

A cataract surgery and thus a significant improvement in the quality of life can be carried out for as little as €30.
